Angie Roher

Executive Director

As the Executive Director of Freedom Plaza, Angie is responsible for the overall operations and financial stability of the Community. She has spent over 20 years working in senior living life plan communities including Asbury Communities, Brookdale, and Life Care Services. Angie has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a master’s degree in Health Care Administration. Actively involved in LeadingAge FL , she is currently an At-Large Trustee on the Board of LeadingAge FL.

Angie has vast experience in overseeing large campuses, overseeing renovation projects, and managing the financial operations of the community. She loves getting to know and partnering with the residents and associates. On a personal note, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Kim Haberkorn

Executive Director Assisted Living and Memory Care

As the Executive Director of Assisted Living and Memory Care at Freedom Plaza, Kim is responsible for the oversight and management of over 100 apartments supporting higher levels of care. She has spent over 30 years working in the senior living industry. From social work, to nursing home administration, and operations management. Kim has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from The University of Missouri and a master’s degree in Health Care Management from Troy State University.

Kim has a wide range of experience in building teams, budget management, and mentorship. Kim loves to spend time with residents and their families, getting to know each resident individually. Outside of work Kim enjoys golfing, spending time with friends, family and spoiling her French Bulldog, Stella.

Dennis Kimble

Director of Financial Services

As Director of Financial Services, Dennis is responsible for all the community’s financial functions, including accounting and corporate finance. He also oversees and manages all of the Business Office activities within the community. His career spans more than 33 years with varied experience in financial operations, management, and business leadership. Prior to joining Freedom Plaza in 2022, Dennis spent time working with both local and international “Big 4” CPA firms specializing in the long-term care industry. He also spent time as a Controller of a skilled nursing facility chain and spent over a decade owning and managing a Medicare-certified home health agency that provided him excellent experience at the patient-level of the long-term care continuum. Dennis is a CPA and holds a Bachelors of Accounting from the University of West Florida. Outside of work, Dennis enjoys spending his free time with friends and family.

Theresa Lehman

Food and Beverage Director – Campus

Theresa Lehman has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry and 16 years in Senior Living. graduated from Kent State University with Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Management. Theresa started in the hospitality industry as the catering manager for Sea World in Ohio and later overseeing 32 restaurants as a regional manager. After moving to Florida, she shifted her focus to the senior living industry and became the dining room manager at Freedom Plaza and built a great dining team. After 10 years of growth, passion for serving seniors and dedicated perseverance Theresa became the campus-wide Food and Beverage Director.

Theresa lives in Riverview, Florida with her husband, 2 daughters and 2 kitties Ms. Ella and Ms. Char. She loves to bake, craft, and entertain family and friends in her spare time.

Iris Martin

Director of Marketing & Sales

Iris Martin came aboard as the Director of Marketing and Sales in January 2023. She has strong values and a solid work ethic, which she inherited from her grandparents. Her leadership experience, and a passion for bringing the community to life, makes her a natural fit for her role. She has spent over 14 years working in the Senior Living industry and is hoping to retire from Freedom Plaza. She is extremely excited to be working at a Life Care Services community.

Iris has two English Bulldogs that she adores, a husband she has been married to for 31 years and three beautiful adult children. She enjoys riding her bike in the evenings after work and volunteers for abused horses in her spare time.

Favorite thing about Freedom Plaza: The relationships that are built not only with residents and their families but employees as well.

June Ripley

HR Director

June has been Freedom Plaza’s Human Resource Director since 2015. Her 20+ years of HR experience in the healthcare and senior living industry focused on strategic HR planning, performance management, recruitment, federal and state law compliance, benefits, compensation, coaching, training, and development. June holds a master’s degree in HR and Business Management and is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management with a Professional Human Resources certification.

Favorite thing about Freedom Plaza: June’s passion working at Freedom Plaza is to be part of something great; making a positive difference in resident’s lives by hiring the best employees as well as to improve the lives of employees by offering competitive wages, benefits, and career advancement opportunities. Working at Freedom Plaza is a rewarding journey!

Siby Thadathil

Plant Operations Director

As the Plant Operations Director Siby is responsible for the operations and maintenance of all the systems across campus. This is inclusive of 14 buildings and the 18 hole Executive Golf Course all located on Freedom Plaza’s 140 acres. Siby has had over 20years experience in the building industry. He has an extensive training in Civil and Structural Design, Commercial and Residential Electrical Design, HVAC, Fire Protection and Plumbing design. He has worked in the senior environment for over 10 years and truly enjoys the opportunity to help and assist the residents, staff, and families to ensure everyone is happy.

Favorite thing about Freedom Plaza: The camaraderie of the entire team, the residents and entire campus as a whole.

Christopher Grella

Health Care Administrator

As the health care administrator of Plaza West, Chris is responsible for the overall operations of the health center. Chris started working in long term care over 35 years ago. He is a licensed nurse and received his BS in Business Administration and Finance from New York Institute of Technology. He is a true advocate for residents and enjoys getting to know them. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
